Kenya: Sh392 Million Heroine Seized, Six Arrested

A Sh415 million heroine haul has been seized by police in Mombasa. At the same time, six suspected traffickers were on Thursday night arrested in a palatial apartment in Shanzu.

Among those arrested were three Kenyans Joash Omondi, Hassan Ibrahim, Yusuf Hassan, two Iranians Ali Mohammed and Abdul Baseet and a Pakistani national Khan Mohammed. The six were flown from Mombasa to Nairobi in a police helicopter. The suspects arrived at Wilson Airport shortly after 1.30pm where they were paraded and the drugs displayed.
