The Public Operation Accounts Committee (POAC) yesterday dismissed the Tanzania Electric Supply Company's (Tanesco) budget report on the grounds that it contains too many weaknesses that needed elaborations from the ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs and the ministry of Energy and Minerals.
Briefing Journalists after a long discussion between the Tanesco management and the committee, which the press was not privy to, Kilwa North MP Murtaza Mangungu said there were many queries on Tanesco's report and that the committee had sensed that there was a big problem in it.
