TRANSPORT was disrupted for six hours yesterday after drivers of hundreds of trucks blocked the busy Nakuru-Eldoret highway. The drivers were demanding that the Government addresses the issue of insecurity on the highway. Traffic along the highway came to a standstill causing a major snarl up stretching several Kilometres.
The drivers said insecurity between Salagaa and Sachang'wan had increased and they were forced to spend the night in the towns for fear of being attacked.
