Nigeria: Gyang Still Tallen's Deputy in Guber Race - Labour Party

Jos — The Labour Party in Plateau State has denied rumours that the party's gubernatorial running mate, Pam Dung Gyang, has dropped out of the gubernatorial race having secured an appointment in Abuja.

The party in a statement by its Publicity Secretary of the party, Sylvanus Namang said Gyang remains the running mate to Dame Pauline Tallen and is still a member of the party. "We hereby dismiss as laughable, mischievous and totally false such cheap rumours being spread by little minds that are totally afraid of the ever growing popularity and acceptance of the Labour Party and the gubernatorial winning tickets of Dame Pauline Tallen/Architect Pam Dung Gyang," it stated.
