Namibia: New Negotiations On Crushing Plant

THE Keetmanshoop Town Council and the owner of the Super Sand stone-crushing plant, Gerrit Van Der Merwe, last week started fresh negotiations on moving the plant to reduce pollution on a nearby residential area.

Previously, the council had agreed to allocate two plots free of charge and to cover the relocation cost estimated at N$450 000 to have the plant moved, The Namibian was reliably informed.
