Nigeria: Katsina - CPC, Momoh, Masari Ask Court to Stop Lado From Running

Abuja — Congress For Progressive Change (CPC), its National Chairman, Tony Momoh and another leader, Aminu Bello Masari, on Monday urged the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja to restrain the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from listing Yakubu Garba Lado as the party's governorship candidate for Katsina State.

It would be recalled that Justice Abdul Kafarati of the Federal High Court had on February 25 declared Lado as the authentic CPC governorship candidate for Katsina State.
