Nairobi — At the beginning of the year, as North Africa was engulfed in protests arising from economic and political frustrations of the populations, many said it cannot happen in East Africa because of various reasons, from ethnicity to political persuasions.
Others argued that all that was needed here was a trigger. Unique to the region. Might the "Walk to Work" campaign against rising fuel protests in Uganda be it?
