Busia Villa won the inaugural Under-17s football championship beating Teso North 4-3 on post match penalties at Busia polytechnic yesterday.
The two teams had tied 1-1 before referee Enock Oreda from Bunyala ordered for penalties in the final played on a sodden pitch. In the semi finals, 10-man Teso North beat Bunyala 2-0 in an ill-tempered match while Busia Villa beat Busia Simba 2-1. In the girls' category, Butula lifted the trophy after beating Samia 3-1.
