Kenya: 3 Fishermen Killed in Uganda

A confrontation looms between Kenyan and Ugandan fishermen following the killing of three locals at dawn yesterday. Villagers of Sisenye village have threatened to attack any Ugandan fishermen they find in their area to avenge the killing of their kinsmen at Sikulu Island in Uganda off the shore of Port Victoria.

Councillor Samuel Juma of Bunyala North Ward said one of the men, Godfrey Sanya, was shot dead by a home guard while two others, Lucas Odinga and Peter Odhiambo were lynched at Maninga area.
