Liberia: Total to Create 2,500 Jobs

The head of a French Petroleum Company, TOTAL, says Liberians stand to benefit from more jobs in the coming years in keeping with its investment plans in the country.

Speaking to this paper yesterday at his Bushrod Island Office, the Managing Director of TOTAL-Liberia, Mr. Olivier Lassagne, has noted that the company will increase its employment from 600 to 1,000 by the end of 2011. He also pointed out that the company intends to have 2,500 Liberians employed in the next two years.
