Nigeria: Govt Tightens Security At Airports, Arrests 138 Persons

Lagos — The Federal Government, through the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has tightened security at the Murtala Muhammed Airport and others in the country to ensure that terrorists do not take advantage of the death of founder and leader of al-Qaeda terrorist group, Osama bin Laden, to wreck havoc in Nigeria.

FAAN has also confirmed the arrest of more than 138 persons in the past three days within the airport environment.
