Angola: Ruling Party Committed to Literacy

Kuito — The first secretary of the ruling MPLA party in the central Bié province, Álvaro Manuel de Boavida Neto, on Friday said that the creation of a teaching facility in action committees will encourage militants to attend literacy lessons.

Boavida Neto, who was speaking during the inauguration ceremony of the head offices of the "28 de Junho" action committee, in the provincial capital (Kuito), which will also serve for teaching literacy lessons, said that the creation of venues in action committees will increase the academic level of the militants.
