Pursuant to my previous piece on risk and entrepreneurship, this particular instalment was supposed to focus on what governments can do to support entrepreneurship.
Unfortunately, that issue will be addressed in future pieces. I have decided to revisit the issue of youth unemployment. Two developments have necessitated this: news from the just-ended World Econ-omic Forum on Africa (WEF) suggesting that policy makers are seized with the issue of youth unemployment, and feedback from a reader of this column on a previous article on youth unemployment and entrepreneurship
