Somalia: With Rainfall, Mogadishu is Calm After Deadly Fighting

Mogadishu — Precarious calm has returned to Mogadishu, the capital of war torn Horn of Africa nation after heavy clashes.

Health officials confirmed that Wednesday fighting claimed the lives of more than 15 people and hurt nearly 80 others after Al shabaab, which the United States alleges to be al Qaeda's proxy in Somalia, and government force backed AMISOM troops clashed in parts of the capital.
