Moroto — The government should allocate enough resources to enhance speedy transformation of living conditions for the Karimojong. Officials from the five East African Community states made the call this week during the Tegla Loroupe foundation cross-border peace race held in Moroto Municipality.
The team which included four Kenya parliamentary representatives led by Kenya Information minister Samuel Poghisio and Ms Beatrice Kiraso, the deputy secretary general of East Africa in Charge of Political Federations, also pledged to urge member states to support development initiatives in the region.
