Sudan: SLM Leaders Appeal to International Community and Darfur Mediation to Support Rebels' Reunification

Doha — Leaders of the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) which is not part of the Doha peace process urged the international community and the mediation to support their efforts to complete the reunification of the rebel group and the other rebels.

Abdel Wahid Al-Nur and Minni Minnawi signed an alliance pact earlier this month as part of their efforts to reunite the first rebellion in Darfur. Also three SLM factions rejoined the founder of the group, Al-Nur.
