The four policemen arrested in connection with a highway robbery on Monday have a Congolese ringleader. The suspects, nabbed after they hijacked a lorry with government drugs worth Sh30 million on Monday, could have been involved in the highway crime for years.
Sources said the men, who were due to appear before a Kibera court, colluded with a Congolese man who was arrested during the Monday swoop in Marurui, Kasarani division. The foreigner is the kingpin of the syndicate, according to police.
