Kenya: Ugandan Artiste Kzyiire Owentebbe's Passion for Africa

The Paa ya Paa art gallery in Ridgeways on your way to Kiambu County is currently hosting a very unique exhibition. Ugandan artiste Kzyiire Owentebbe, 30, is showing some of his paintings in the gallery set up by legendary artist Elimu Njau.

The exhibition which has African liberation figures including Kenya's founding president Jomo Kenyatta, Tanzania's Julius Nyerere among others was recently opened by the Ugandan High Commissioner Angela Wapakhabulo. The High Commissioner who has a love of the creative arts having done theatre in university asked art lovers to enjoy the unique and reasonably-priced art pieces on offer.
