Police have said they were yet aware of the motive of the killings.

Mbanza Kongo — Police detained several citizens for illegally attempting to enter Angola from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), over the last seven days, in the northern Zaire Province, ANGOP has learnt.

A press note from the police says that following this, nine Congolese citizens were detained.

The infringements were recorded at the border station of Ponda de Padrão, in Soyo Municipality.

Several citizens, most of them from DRC, are caught weekly by police across the border, for attempting illegal entrance into Angola.
