Kenya: Why Raahat Fateh Ali Khan Show Didn't Happen

Ustaad Raahat Fateh Ali Khan has a global fan following thanks to his many Suif and Bollywood songs which have been super hits! After his ecstatic show last year, Ustaad Raahat was meant to perform once again in Nairobi, on June 3 and 4. Due to certain unexpected events, the show did not happen, much to the disappointment of many fans.

However, I received an e-mail from Dr Mohammed Ahmed of Rani's Productions who explains, "The singer was coming to Nairobi to perform at the Aga Khan Centre on the 3rd and 4th June 2011. However, during his US tour in May, Raahat was involved in a road accident as the SUV car in which they were travelling in from Detroit to Chicago flipped leading to the sad death of his manager Chitresh Srivastava while other members of the group were also injured and are still recovering in Pakistan.
