Kenya: Losers in Youth Polls Told to Accept Defeat

Losers in the recent National Youth Council elections have been told to accept the poll results. Delegates from Kisumu North district yesterday said the decision by some losers and delegates to move to court is ill-advised.

Addressing journalists at Otonglo market, the youths led by Charles Juma, Gabriel Omollo and Albert Otieno, asked the losers to accept defeat. "It is shocking that people who have lost in free and fair polls are moving to court to challenge the elections," he said.
