Nigeria: CIA Investigators Arrive As Probe Begins

Abuja — There are indications that two experts in improvised explosive devices from the United States (US) Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) may have arrived Nigeria to help the police unravel several disturbing angles in the investigations into the twin bomb blasts that rocked the Force Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.

Sunday Vanguard gathered that the arrival of the American experts, in the early hours of yesterday, was immediately followed with a briefing by the police investigating team comprising the Criminal Investigations Department of the FCT and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) under the headship of DCP Alkali Baba Usman.
