Kenya: Political Parties Tribunal to Rule On UDM Chairmanship Wrangle
Eldoret north mp William Ruto will know if he will be able to vie for a seat in next year's election on a UDM ticket tomorrow.
The political parties' tribunal is expected to make a ruling on the party leadership. John Koech, a close ally of prime Minister Raila Odinga is seeking to be re -instated as UDM's chairman.
Ruto has in the past stated his intentions to use UDM in the 2012 elections, but Koech's reinstatement could destabilize his strategy which may force him to seek an alternative party.
