Kenya: Citizens to Make Known Their Views on Budget in Line With Constitution

Nairobi — Kenyans have a second chance to present their views on the 2011/12 Budget as the Constitution continues to affect the way public resources are raised and used in the country.

Wananchi are expected to present their views - verbally and in written memoranda - on the estimates of revenue and expenditure for the next fiscal year at public hearings set for Friday at all provincial headquarters, except in Nairobi where they will be held next Tuesday.
