Abuja/Lagos — Twenty Special Advisers were on Wednesday approved by the Senate for President Goodluck Jonathan, despite protest that such a large number of aides, who will work with him apart from 34 Ministers, will further drain lean resources.
The Senate confirmed seven of the Ministerial nominees: Emeka Wogu (Abia), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Diezani Alison-Madueke (Bayelsa), Godsday Orubebe (Delta), Onyebuchi Chukwu (Ebonyi), Caleb Olubolade (Ekiti), and Ruqayyatu Rufai (Jigawa).
