Kenya: Consider Cost Effectiveness When Buying Food, Nutritionist

With the prices of basic food items getting out of reach for many, some families are tempted to compromise their health by ignoring nutritional requirements in their diets.

Nutritionist Alice Ndong' advises that you consider cost effectiveness by giving up luxury foods like marmalade, jam or peanut butter in favor of a cheaper but balanced diet.

She recommends that you shop for food at the market place where prices are a bit reasonable and where there's more variety.
