Namibia: Kathindi Has Been Paid - NHE

NATIONAL Housing Enterprise (NHE) Chief Executive Officer Vinson Hailulu has dismissed claims of non-payment by Ben Kathindi, saying that the Oshakati-based architect has been paid what is due to him according to the terms of their agreement.

Hailulu on Monday confirmed that Ben Kathindi Architects was appointed as the principal agent for the NHE's rental housing project in Eenhana, and according to the agreement Kathindi would be paid 12 per cent of the total construction costs as professional fees. Based on the current cost estimate of N$9,9 million for the project, this amounts to N$1,3 million.
