Nigeria: Alleged Forgery - Niger CPC Senator Still in Custody As Court Refuses Bail

Minna — The Chief Magistrate Court V, Minna yesterday refused to grant bail to Senator Ibrahim Musa of CPC, representing Niger North but ordered him to be remanded in prison custody for the second day, after a heated debate by lawyers that lasted for about two hours.

The Senator was arraigned before the court after official closing hour, at around 5.45 pm on Monday for alleged document forgery.
