Kenya: Corporate Captains Tee Off

The inaugural IBM Corporate golf day held at the Karen Golf Club recently attracted a huge turnout of Kenya's corporate giants. The extravaganza, attended by over 100 golfers including visitors from South Africa and Uganda saw East Africa IBM GM Tony Mwai call it "a resounding success, I think we must do this again."

Golfers included information minister Samuel Poghisio, Rwandan ambassador Bill Kayonga, GDC Chairman Paul Gondi, Development Bank CEO Victor Kidiwa, EcoBank Chairman Peter Kanyago, Deloitte's Sammy Onyango and John Kiarie, AON's William Maara and George Kuria, Uchumi's Owino Ayodo, Henry Njoroge of XRX Technologies and Total's Maurice Kanjejo among many others. The golfer's were treated to on-course barbeques, with Charles Gacheru IMG of events and PR as the Emcee.
