Angola: Vice President Leaves Moxico

Luena — Angolan vice president, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, left on Friday afternoon Luena, eastern Moxico province for Luanda, after paying a two-day working visit to that region.

During his stay in the province, Fernando da Piedade inaugurated the High Polytechnic School of eastern Moxico province, belonging to José Eduardo dos Santos University, the Youth House and the social youth ward.

The vice-president met the local government officials, clerics, chieftains and representatives of the former combatants.

He also handed over tractors and home appliances to traditional authorities and former combatants, as well as an ambulance to the local hospital.
