Nigeria: Sheriff Knows Nothing On Boko Haram - ANPP

The All Nigeria Peoples Party ANPP yesterday reacted to allegations raised by the Board of Trustees (BOT) chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum, Gen. Jeremiah Useni and a member of the Borno emirate council, Alhaji Zanna Bukar Umaru Mandara that the immediate past governor of Borno state, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff has a case to answer concerning the activities of the Islamic sect, Jama'atu Ahlus Sunnah Lid Da'awati Wal Jihad otherwise known as Boko Haram.

According to the party, "ANPP has never been part of Boko Haram and Sheriff is not the originator of Boko Haram." Adding that people making such statements are just out to tarnish the good image of the party in the state and the former governor.
