Nigeria: Yakowa Swears-in Commissioners

At last, Kaduna State Governor, Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa yesterday swore-in commissioners and sole administrators of development areas. Charging them to be pivotal of peace and development, Yakowa said,

"The main action you are expected to perform is to ensure peace and security in your respective areas for harmonious co-existence. With the swearing-in of the newly appointed members of the state executive council and the development area administrators, the structure of government is now set for an effective take-off. All the appointments that have so far been made were based on merit.
