Zambia: Polls a State's Affair - U.S. Envoy

UNITED States Ambassador to Zambia Mark Storella has said the forthcoming tripartite elections were for Zambians and should be allowed to be held within the confines of the Zambian laws.

Speaking to journalists when he paid a courtesy call on North-Western Province Permanent Secretary Fabian Mumba, Mr Storella said the elections should be held in line with Zambian laws and the international observers coming to monitor the elections should only comment on the election results in consistency with the Zambian laws.
