Angola: National Under16 Females Team to Leave for Egypt On Wednesday

Luanda — The Angolan national under 16 females basketball team will on Wednesday travel to Egypt, where they will compete in the African Cup of Nations on 22-30 July.

Speaking to Angop, the coach of the national squad, Elisa Pires, said that the Angolan team have evolved in the defensive and offensive sectors, aiming for better results in the competition.

Check the summoned players: Erica Guilherme, Elsa Aberto, Francisca Mateus, Senia Cazua, Vánia Vicente (Interclube) Joana Bendi, Emília Macuta (1º de Agosto), Helena Malanje, Helena Viegas (Juventude de Viana), Micolette Ndozuawu, Madalena Silva, Daniela Tchicongo (Benguela), Olinda Simião, Rosa Gala (Huíla) and Luísa Domingos (Huambo).
