Nigeria: Don't Peddle Rumours, Minister Warns Directors

The Minister of Education Professor Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufa'i yesterday issued a stern warning to directorate staff of the Federal Ministry of Education not to cause any rancor between her and the newly appointed Minister of State for Education, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.

Prof Ruqayyatu who spoke at a formal welcoming ceremony for her deputy, attributed the bad working relationship she had with the past minister of state, Barr Kenneth Gbagi to rumour peddling and division of camps among senior staff.
