Nigeria: I'm Totally Independent - Suleiman

Abuja — AGAINST the backdrop of insinuations in certain quarters that the new Minister and Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Alhaji Yusuf Suleiman may be pandering towards that Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in the crisis that has engulfed Nigerian football because one of the members of the board of the NFF is said to be his elder brother, the Minister has said he will be taking decisions devoid of any form of sentiment.

Addressing the media shortly after an inspection of the Abuja National Stadium yesterday, Suleiman reiterated his resolve to end the lingering crisis rocking Nigerian football saying there is no way the sector will develop with the spate of crises.
