Kenya: Commercial Bank of Africa Increases Mombasa Outlets

Commercial Bank of Africa has opened a fourth branch in Mombasa as part of its countrywide expansion plans. The Changamwe branch will now supplement services offered by the Moi Acenue, Bamburi and Diani branches. "CBA decided to increase its footprint in Mombasa owing to its thriving economic status.

The city is home to Kenya's only sea port, and hosts key business activities such as oil refinery and cement manufacturing, which are key to Kenya's economy," said CBA Managing Director Isaac Awuondo. The bank has in the last 24 months opened new branches at the Galleria in Karen, Nakuru and Meru. "We are continually seeking to position our operations closer to our customers and target market. Our Changamwe Branch customers will now be able to enjoy stress-free banking as well as our wide range of product and service offering," said Awuondo.
