PRESIDENT Rupiah Banda yesterday offered about 200 houses for sale to sitting tenants at Zesco’s Camp 3 residential township in Kafue during the commissioning of the US$2 billion Kafue Gorge Lower Hydro-electric project that will add 750 megawatts to the national grid.
And President Banda has said the criticism by the opposition political parties about Zambia’s re-classification as a middle income nation was misplaced because there was no country in the world where there was no poverty on account of improved economic status.
