Namibia: Warriors' Second Strings Shine

Windhoek — Brave Warriors' second strings were held to 1-all draw by Aduana FC with Tigers' defender Steven Sabatha scoring Namibia's only goal.

The Namibians had a goal mysteriously disallowed for offside after lanky striker Kumbee Katjiteo netted a great goal.

Overall, the team is reported to be gelling well and the boys are focused on making their West African tour a great success. The team also witnessed the final of the Ghanaian FA Cup between Abedi Pele's first division side Nania Stars and old timers Asante Kotoko, which the former won 1-0.

The touring entourage got a morale booster when national airliner Air Namibia presented the team with T-shirts yesterday.

The Warriors next assignment is a tie against the Togolese Under-20 team in the Ghanaian capital Accra on Saturday, with a subsequent match against Benin's national team.
