Ghana: Kokofuhene Cautions Politicians Against Violence

Kokofu-Ash — BARIMA OFFE Kwasi Okogyeasuo II, Omanhene of Kokofu Traditional area in Ashanti region, has cautioned politicians and political parties to avoid violence in their quest to wrestle power.

The occasion was when NPP flag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo called on him at his palace during his tour of the constituency at the week end. Barima Okogyeasuo II advised Nana Addo to ensure that divisive tendencies, which cost the party in the last elections, are avoided as much as possible.
