Nigeria: Health Agency Blames Insecurity for Failure of Midwives Scheme in North-East

Abuja — The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), has blamed the spate of insecurity in some states in the North-east geo-political zone as a major challenge to success of the Midwives Service Scheme (MSS) in the region.

NPHCDA's Director of Primary Health Care Development System, Dr. Mohammed Jibril Abdullahi, disclosed this yesterday in Abuja at the MSS review meeting with zonal coordinators and focal persons.
