Angola: Luanda Hosts Portuguese Speaking Hip Hop Festival

Luanda — The first International Lusophone Hip Hop festival in Angola will present on 6 August the rappers Father Mack, Kool Klever, Racionais Mcs, Black Company and Gabriel o Pensador.

The team comprises Angolan rappers Bob da Rage Sense, Pai Grande, Dr Romeu and Mc Kid, while Mozambique will be represented at the event by Azagaia and Dama do Bling.

The Cape Verde's singer Boss AC will also integrate the list.

Speaking at the press conference, the organiser Abraão dos Reis said that the event serves to pay tribute to the Angolan youth leadership at the Portuguese Speaking Community (CPLP), discourage the violence and use of drugs by young people.

The show will be held under the motto "fight against violence and drugs.

The entry tickets will be sold between 2000 and 2,500 kwanzas each.
