Calabar — The beauty of a place revolves round its infrastructure, at least the builders or those in related fields would say. The order and aesthetics not only attracts commendations but is the fulcrum for further developments. The contrary inevitably results in the building of shanties like in the former Maroko in Lagos State, and disorderly and not well built structures which could collapse anytime, taking lives with it.

The Cross River State is apparently aware of this and tries to keep to form, hence it (particularly Calabar, the capital) is noted the cleanest city in the country.
