The Kaduna State governor, Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa, has promised effective regional security, in order to put a stop to the violence that claimed the lives of several people, leaving several properties worth millions of naira destroyed.
Yakowa who made this promise during a meeting with indigenes of the state, a side event of the 2011 convention of the Northern Peoples Frontier called 'Zumunta' in Atlanta at the weekend, noted that the issue of security should be paramount to government in Nigeria at all levels.
