Nigeria: Court Denies Suspected Killer of Boko Haram Leader Bail

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja Monday refused an application for bail brought by one of the accused persons standing trial over the death of a former leader of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, Ustaz Mohammed Yusuf.

Sgt. Adamu Gado, one of the five accused persons facing a two-count charge of conspiracy to commit a terrorist act, had prayed the court to admit him to bail to enable him prepare for his trial.
