Dar es Salaam — Japan said yesterday that the consignment of frozen fish seized last week on suspicion it was contaminated with radiation was safe for human consumption.
A statement issued by the Japanese embassy in Dar es Salaam yesterday, said the government of Japan's position on the matter was that there have been no cases of fish sales or exports being restricted due to radioactive contamination.
