Nigeria: Commission Confiscates N2 Million Pirated Works

In a bid to checkmate activities of pirates in the country, the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) yesterday confiscated pirated audio and video CD plates worth N2 million belonging to different marketers at Garki District, Abuja.

Corporate Inspector, Mrs. Chinyere Onu, said the operation was carried out in order to rid the territory of pirate activities so as to afford the original authors of various works the opportunity to sell them easily.
