Kenya: Murang'a Aspirants Advised

Murang'a parliamentary aspirants have been told not use abusive language in their campaigns. Mathioya MP Clement Wambugu yesterday hit out at flaboyant candidates especially in his constituency, and accused them of spreading propaganda against him and former area MPs. "I am angered by those going round the constituency tainting my name and accusing me for doing little for my people.

They are doing it out of jealousy and people should say no to such characters," said Wambugu. He told aspirants they should learn how to respect others in a bid to unite the electrorate. Wambugu claimed that some of the aspirants have been inciting the youth to rebuff CDF initiated projects for no good reason.
