Nigeria: Nation Loses N3 Billion Yearly to Ship Chandlers

Not less than N3 billion is lost annually due to the low activities in the ship chandelling sub sector of the economy, the Secretary, Board of Trustees, Nigerian Licensed Ship Chandlers Association, Dr. Emeka Enebeli, has said.

Enebeli, who stated this in Lagos, maintained that legislation guiding ship chandelling profession had been comatose, which has allowed the profession to vegetate.
