Angola: Luanda Holds Colloquium On HIV/Aids

Luanda — A symposium under the theme HIV/AIDS and its public-private partnership for the success of national plan, will be held from 8 to 9 August in Luanda under the aegis of Angolan Association of Journalists in the Fight against HIV/AIDS (AAJL-AIDS).

According to a press note, the meeting will be held in the Institute of Banking Training (IFBA) and aims to promote partnerships between the different sectors of media, associations and actors working in the field of HIV/AIDS.

The event, under the motto "Fighting HIV-AIDS, all together is possible" aims to bring together journalists, non state actors and social partners.

The theme "The role of civil society in the development of community and in the response to HIV/AIDS under the combat of poverty program and the experience of work in integrated programs with the view to reintegration and psychosocial support to HIV positive.

The AAJL-SIDA is a non-government association.
